Supplementing regulations on derivative securities supervision fees from July 1, 2022

The Ministry of Finance has issued Circular No. 25/2022/TT-BTC dated April 28, 2022 stipulating the collection rate, mode of collection, payment, management and use of fees and charges in the securities sector.

This Circular supplements regulations on the collection of derivative securities supervision fees as follows:

- Derivatives supervision fee for Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC): 10% of revenue from position management service price/clearing service price and money management service price escrow property.

- Derivatives supervision fee for the Stock Exchange: 10% of the revenue of derivatives trading services.

Circular 25 adds the fee of securities supervision fees for paying banks, specifically:

- For stocks, fund certificates, covered warrants: 0.001% of the value compensated, net settlement/payment day, maximum VND 1000,000/day.

- For corporate bonds: 0.0001% of clearing value, net payment/payment day, up to 100,000 VND/day.

In addition, a number of fees and charges remain unchanged, such as: Fees for issuance of licenses for the establishment and operation of securities companies from 20 to 100 million VND/license; the fee for licensing the establishment and operation of securities investment fund management companies and securities investment companies is VND 30 million/license...

This Circular takes effect from July 1, 2022.
