Accordingly, in order to boost up the process of affixing identification cards to cars, and to eliminate the one-stop toll collection (cash), the Prime Minister requested:
- Ministers and heads of agencies directing to stick identification cards with all cars under their management; no one-stop toll collection (cash) from August 1, 2022.
- The Ministry of Transport shall direct the well-organized work of sticking identification cards for means of transport; thoroughly fix technical errors; research on the option of pasting identification cards as a mandatory procedure in the vehicle registration process.
- The Ministry of Public Security directs to strictly sanction vehicles that intentionally violate ETC toll collection activities, causing traffic disorder.
Especially in the period after August 1, 2022 - when tollgates will stop manual toll collection lanes to switch to ETC toll collection and can only maintain 1 mixed toll lane at each toll station.

- Vehicle owners and drivers urgently apply identification cards and fulfill all conditions to participate in the ETC toll service in order to contribute to improving the efficiency of the ETC toll collection system.
Do not drive a vehicle that is not eligible for ETC toll collection entering the ETC toll lanes that causes traffic jams.
